Westdale: ‘Working Together’ with Crindau Primary School to raise awareness of Health and Safety

Since the Summer Term, Westdale have had the great pleasure of ‘Working Together’ with the pupils and staff at Crindau Primary School in Newport, South Wales.

Following a full school assembly on Health & Safety at the end of last term we held a competition to help inform the pupils’ understanding of Construction Site Safety. The pupils produced some amazing work! They really know their stuff when it comes to safety, and to was a very hard job to choose the winners.

The winner of the Safety Sign was Tammia Wilkins, and the runner up was Mia Humphries:

The winner of the S.A.F.E sign was Ruby, and the runner up was Jacob:

The winner of the “Playing with Danger” story was Islem, and the runner up was Callie:

Our resident Liaison Officer, Carey, visited the school assembly last week to present the Westdale Winners with a certificate, a prize, and a copy of their winning work. Westdale are looking forward to many more ‘Working Together’ sessions with Crindau Primary. On behalf of Westdale, we’d like to thank Mr Fisher and all the pupils for the warm welcome.
