Westdale & Hall Group took great pleasure in welcoming many staff from East Riding of Yorkshire Council to the Goole site today.
System designer Alumasc Façades gave a short presentation on the products and processes involved when insulating hard to treat housing stock across the country, followed by a Westdale demonstration and ‘have a go’ session for any and all willing participants. All participants embraced the opportunity to ‘get on the tools’ for an afternoon and thoroughly enjoyed their visit.
Following refreshment and the workshop, attendees had a walk around the site to look at the recently completed properties.
The contract at Goole consists of 102 properties with 120mm phenolic insulation boards, achieving a resultant ‘U’ value of 0.15W/m2K. Finishes are to replicate the existing façades, meaning the scheme is a true mix of brick effect render, textured silicone render and stone headers and cills.
The site team at Westdale would like to thank all participants for their time today and look forward to delivering more quality finished homes through the remainder of the partnership.
